Move Out Procedure

Prior to the expiration of your lease:

Please call the office to let us know of your intentions and find out if you have any outstanding balances or credits on your account.

 

Unless you are on a month-to-month lease (which requires a 30 days notice) or alternative terms were arranged; provide the written forty-five (45) day notice (as explained in your lease agreement) and your forwarding address to the office via:

After the expiration of your lease:

Remove all personal items from your unit and your storage unit (if applicable) and thoroughly clean the entire unit including:

Floors, walls, cabinets, countertops, doors, windows, closets, sinks, bathtubs, toilets, mirrors, fans, tiles, tub surrounds, light fixtures, blinds, appliances, etc. Feel free to use your “Move-In Inspection” sheet as a guide if you’d like.

Carpet MUST be professionally steam cleaned.

Pay outstanding balances if there are any.

Call the office when complete and ready for Move-Out inspection and to find out how to get keys back to management. We may have you leave them on the counter and lock the door or we may have staff pick them up if available and it is convenient for them.

Make sure ALL keys noted on the “Move-In” sheet have been returned. Ex: 2 apartment keys, 1 mailbox key, 2 common keys.
